OUR CURRICULUM

Our Curriculum Approach
At Rauceby Church of England Primary Academy we structure our curriculum around the core knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum, giving children a wide range of experiences to develop them as life-long learners.
Our pupils learn in a topic based, immersive manner, where teachers strive to develop exciting and stimulating learning experiences for all children both inside and outside of the classroom.  Our approach to the curriculum enables all children to strive to fulfil their potential now, and equips them for the experiences, opportunities and responsibilities encompasing the core values expected of British citizens.

Throughout KS1 we use Read, Write, Ink as a phonic scheme, and utilise a range of reading schemes and the online BugClub reading scheme across both Key Stage One and Key Stage Two.
